Welcome!
We are the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, and our Holy Water Soap is crafted by our hands, with love and with prayer.
Authentic Hand Made
Holy Water Soap
Our story began many years ago, when our own Sister Cathleen Timberlake began to craft wonderfully fragrant soaps with a touch of holy water and a prayer over each batch. You can meet her in the video to your right.
Now our wonderful soaps are available to everyone, and come lovingly packaged for the Perfect gift. We also make gift boxes, Guest soap and Bar size soap in many wonderful fragrances. Take a look!
In Sister Cathleen’s own words:
When I started to make soap almost nine years ago I found myself wondering how I could integrate Prayer, which is our main work together into my newfound passion, that of soapmaking.Inspiration came to me and I decided then and there to add some Holy Water to each batch of soap and to pray for everyone who would be using it…
…Praying for all of you who use my soap is an obligation that I take very seriously. The life of prayer that I have been called to in my vocation flows in and through my life as a soapmaker.
Our life of prayer bears fruit in joy-filled creativity. We also write books, record music, and make soap, candles, lotions and salves, so that as St. Benedict said, “in all things God may be glorified.”
Our soaps and gift items can be shipped to you for any occasion.
Please help spread the word about our Holy Water Soap!
The base of this soap is Shea Butter which is rich in moisture. It is thought to protect the skin against weather and aging. It is opaque, so the color is slightly deeper. All scents and colors are the same as the soaps that are on display.

Hello!
Well, hello!
We are delighted that Ms. Lara has written about our soaps! Can you give us 24 hours to investigate the best way to ship to you? We understand there is a Pasalubong and Balikbayan Box system, so we want to make sure we use the best way. And any suggestions you have can of course be utilized.
We want to make sure our Philippine customers get the items as quickly as possible.
We accept paypal and major credit cards, and yes we do charge for shipping.
Thank you so much for your kind contact.
Maraming Salamat!
Greetings! I am just curious is the adding of holy water in making soap and other materials acceptable by the Church? Also, if I will order and send it to a relative in US, how long is the delivery timing from the time I will order online? how about the delivery going to the Philippines?
Thank you and more God’s blessings.
Hello Olive!
My we are having such a great response to Ms. Lara’s article and we are learning the best way to ship to Manila. Our Philippine advisers have said that for the mean time simply using the US postal service is best, and you can order the soap by clicking on any image on the main page of the site http://www.holywatersoap.com . It will take you to our shopping cart and you can purchase and then give us the shipping information directly to your doorstep.
It is most definitely acceptible by the Church, and we pray over each batch. It is a way of sharing our prayers with our customers in a purifying way, and spreads the power of our prayer far and wide.
God bless you!
